It's a solid printer that's quiet and user-friendly
I already had an Ender 3 and a Craftbot Plus when I bought the Biqu B1. After a couple months of printing at least 50g of PLA per day on it, I have to say it's a trooper. I keep it around 60mm/s and I rarely have a failed print caused by the machine (pobody's nerfect). The touchscreen makes the interface so much easier, the print quality is phenomenal for the price point, and I haven't had a single clog yet (I also don't try to see if I can get the guide wheels to smoke). I've done a bit of PETG on it, but I don't really do nylons and infused filaments so I can't speak to its tolerances there.I haven't really done any upgrades to it besides using RPi with Octoprint and it runs like a dream. It's basically my Ender 3 with all the upgrades I was going to get from the same company. It was between throwing more money at my Ender 3 or getting this. It's also a lot quieter than both of my other machines.I love all my printers. The Biqu B1 isn't perfect for everybody, but if you want a solid machine ...and understand the logic behind maintenance, I'd definitely recommend this one.The price was why I took a chance on it and I couldn't be happier.THERE IS A CONI still haven't been able to find any 0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm, etc. nozzles for it do I'm confined to 0.4mm.

The print quality was amazing and easy to use
Great Choice for a First Printer
This was my very first 3D printer and so glad I started with this. You could almost be overwhelmed with all the pieces that you have to put together if it weren't for the excellent instructions and labeling of the screws and parts. The thing I liked about putting this all together myself is that I know that everything is squared, leveled and the rollers are adjusted properly. The touch screen menu is like second nature and very easy to see and understand, plus it's very responsive to the touch. It has a leveling menu for both manual and setup for the BL Touch. This printer is already setup in Cura so that was easy to install and configure. It also came with a 2g SD Card that has two gcode files in it. Those were my first prints and they came out beautiful. The full manual on the SD card goes beyond just putting it together, it also has instructions for adding BL Touch, updating the LCD menu and the motherboard. I purchased this back in March and use it on a daily basis. The only issue I had was the cooling fan for the extractor and motherboard. The extractor fan started to slow down and then speed up and the motherboard fan got very noisy. Those kind of problems are easy to fix and certainly not a deal breaker. Sainsmart support helped me with this and had replacement fans sent to me in a couple days. I could still use the printer with no problem while I waited for the fans to arrive. Their support team followed up me me on delivery, tracking number and when it was delivered to my house. They also email to let me know if I needed their help to install it and did it work out for me. Very excellent customer support. I was so impressed with Sainsmart's tech support and very comfortable that I would get great service, I purchased another printer from them. My Pro's and Con's below; Pro's: 1. Very quiet printer. 2. Very easy to put together with great instructions 3. Nice small foot print 4. Easy to find parts for replacement or upgrade 5. Excellent Touchscreen menu and easy to see 6. Parts come off the flexible plate very easy and no need for glues or hairspray 7. Can print PLA, PETG, ABS and TPU 8. Came with all the tools you need to put it together and maintain it 9. LED Light in the print head and Dial 10. Two menus, graphical and good old fashion text menu 11. Separate SD Card slots to update the LCD menu and motherboard Con's: 1. Better design for the spool holder ( I like the Ender 3 Max spool holder and location) 2. Upper stabilizer for the Z Axis screw (not a deal breaker and an easy fix) Overall this is a great first printer! I do recommend this printer and purchase it from SainSmart, you can't go wrong!
Ideal 3D printer for the novice user
I am brand new to the 3D printing world. This printer is ideal to help me to start with the 3D technology. The BIQU B1 is very affordable, and at the same time capable of printing nice 3D pieces. I will have more details once I have more experience with that, but so far, I am very happy with it. I was able to print a small elephant and gifted it to my wife. She loved it. Now I will explore printing raspberry pi cases and other gadgets. I am learning more each day and sure, one day I will upgrade it, but for a new user like me, this 3D printer was just the perfect match.
I am really impressed with this printer. It was easy to assemble and configure. And it has printed beautifully from the start. The fans are a bit noisy but not any more than any other printer I have. Read more
Must have for Beginner
My first printer, spent several months on different FB pages, YouTube channels researching other brands. Came across this B1. Very easy to put together and printed right out of the box. Has a lot of the upgrades that most put on the E3 already installed, love the touch screen and the magnetic bed. Uses Marlin so many supportive people out there. Printed cosmetic upgrades to it such as an axis knob, main fan shroud and a different filament spool holder. All prints came out great for not knowing a lot about printing at the time. I went with Prusa slicer over what they supplied, I was able to catch on faster with Prusa than Cura. Main fan is noisy but eh... tolerable. Added BLtouch, could never get it to work right but sure its something I am doing. I would rather print than diagnosing so I manually level and have had no problems with it so far. If I had ONE complaint it would be the nozzle's are hard to find as they seem to be proprietary, it would be nice if Biqu would offer their replacement nozzles on Amazon instead of Aliexpress. Yes a few people have had some problems but the Biqu CS seems to to be spot on and fast responding from what I have seen in the FB pages. Very happy, now looking forward to getting the next one that Biqu is soon to be putting out.
Great printer for a short time. Gets wonky after a short time. Sent it back.
Best money spent! Fantastic Printer!
This is one amazing 3D printer! Very easy to put together and did not need to make any adjustments to the rollers. Even the firmware was up to date with the latest one. Very easy to use and I just love that touch which works great! Took me less than an hour to put it together.
The priter is very good an noob friendly
This printer is amazing I just had two problems with the printer. 1 the knob is not working at all but is not a big deal because the screen is touch. 2 the PSU fan is very loud but. But the print quality is amazing and it is very easy to use.
