So I am going to start out by saying I am not your normal person shopping for a ender 3. this is my 5th 3d printer. I really saw this new machine as a starting point to see what all the hype was about. I ordered the machine and it actually came in faster than expected. Was very well packed and nothing was broken. And really the thing that drove me to actually come write a post and review the machine in general was just the details and refinement I see. Even for a cheap entry level printer I was seriously blown away with some of the details. And the one in particular was the bed. I was putting it together and noticed the bed had a little wobble to it. Was really worried that it was going to have an issue. But was happy to discover they actually make 2 of the wheel mounting points under the bed adjustable. This is a feature and detail you just do not see across all the entry level devices. Put it together plugged it in and hit print it just works. At this price point I was shocked to see the quality of the print with no tweaking. I am really looking forward to seeing how good this little machine can do after a few weeks with the community of 3d makers. I think this is a worthy addition to my growing stable of printers. So while this may not become my go to everyday printer. I love spreading the joy of 3d printing. I now feel confident having one and having printed with it. This will be the machine when I am asked where do I start I will refer people to. And really like the support I get with a company like sainsmart to back up the ender machine is a great deal.
I have quite a few printers (30+) and that includes an ender. So I decided to give this ender-3 v2 a shot. I am extremely happy with the quality and the multiple upgrades it has. The structure is super solid and the lcd screen is easy to see and navigate. I love the belt tensioners!!!!! I was able to build it and get printing in under an hour. For the price this printer is a must have!!!!!
Great little machine, take your time and be meticulous when assembling and it will produce great prints from the start.
I'm fairly sure I received a lemon, so I am going to go easy on this printer. I think my print bed came warped, so this thing just would NOT stay level no matter how much I leveled it (spent at least 8-9 hours trying to fix it before it was returned). After days of attempting to get this thing to print correctly, and installing upgrades, the mobo finally shorted on me after turning it on. The rails were also out of spec by a few fractions of a mm leading to increased motor strain, which was also fun to deal with.I don't want to be harsh, because I know for a fact that Creality's printers are GREAT for the money, but this was a little crazy for the money. I think the QC needs work, a lot of work.Just beware of the problems you may face with this printer, and I'm sure you'll be fine in purchasing it through a reputable seller here on Amazon.
Set up and had running in 30 minutes. Tons of online videos to help with the build. First test print was a snap. Could not be more pleased.
This is a wonderful upgrade from the original Ender 3 or even the Pro. It took me 3 hours to go from box to my first print. My first print was the dog that came on the included SD card. I was extremely impressed. I've been printing ever since. This printer is my second printer and when printing identical items, the Creality Ender 3 V2 was 45 minutes faster, quieter, and much smoother. The unexpected bonus was the glass bed. How well the print stuck and how easy it came off. No glue, no fuss, no problem. I'm really impressed.
For the money this ender pro v2 is a great deal, printed good right out of the box, and there are so many videos on YouTube to help you out
This product is great! out of the box it works, but doesn't work great until you have done a little easy modification.like the Plastic Extruder - change that out right away to the metal one and then change the bed springs from the flimsy ones that come with it to the yellow stronger springs. It makes a big difference. Don't use the filiment they send for testing - it is brittle and doesn't finish the Lucky Cat, leaves it with no head!...use some Hatchbox or Sunlu or any filiment that costs around $20 or more should work, stay away from the cheap stuff and this printer will do whatever you tell it to. there is plenty of room for expansions with auto bed leveling (I like to do mine manually). Update to touch screen and you can use Octoprint and monitor via camera. It took me about 2 hours to put it together and get the e-steps right (most important). Have Fun! or run a small business this printer can do it.
This is my first 3D printer. For me it was between the prusa mini and the ender 3 series of printers. After a few months of research i ended up going with the ender 3 v2. It took a lot of adjustments before i was able to print my first tests, but after I adjusted the rollers to get rid of the bed wabble, then adjusted the x axis bar because it was a little crooked at first, i was amazed. The UI is very intuitive and its pretty easy to level the bed. I like this printer because it is a lot more upgradable than the prusa and it also comes with some upgrades over the ender 3 v1 and the pro. It also comes with a lot of little things i would have never guessed! Full Allen wrench set for every screw, scraper, phillips screwdriver, clippers, zip ties, a decent amount of filament, and a few extra parts. Glass bed is great but does scrape easily due to its coating. So far ive only printed PLA so im not sure how it does with other materials yet, but with PLA it works wonders! Ill update if anything changes but so far im loving it!
I own multiple 3D printers. Out of the box this is the easiest one I have ever had to put together and use. Most of the structure is aluminum and put together with sturdy, substantial screws.First thing, The box is heavy. Much heavier than I expected. The packing is a heavy duty black foam with cutouts for the pieces. Most of the pieces are pre-assembled and almost all the wiring done right out of the box. Especially the high voltage and the anything carrying substantial current (extruder and heated bed) The base and the Y access is preassembled and well packed. The construction took me about 40 minutes from opening the box to starting the first print. The directions pretty good but I did look at the document on the web to get more detailed diagrams to speed up the assembly. The only part that was tricky was the gantry because it is 5 pieces that have to be put together perfectly which would be easier with an extra pair of hands.Everything was in the box as expected along with a couple extra screws, a nozzle cleaner, a diagonal cutter for fiber, a micro SD card with examples and documents, and some sample PLA to get you started with the printer. The display is color and easy to use. The power supply is dual voltage (make sure you set the voltage for your country. Mine shipped at 230 so I had to set it to 115 for the USA. There is even a nice power switch on the back and a normal computer power cord is included. If you want a nice quality and value priced printer I am not sure you can go better than this printer.
