An Outstanding Machine For The Price
Wow, this CNC machine, while relatively small for a CNC machine, is extremely impressive. I was expecting it to be a pretty nice machine, but it has far exceeded my expectations. This thing is, in a word, awesome! The first thing you will notice about this machine is how heavy it is. It's *really* heavy. And just so you know, because the box is also very large and difficult to manage, you will absolutely need a hand truck or the help of another person to help you bring it in from your front door. The box is 37��X31��X13��, and weighs somewhere around 125 pounds. Assembling this CNC machine is very straightforward. I didn't run into any unforeseen complications or time-consuming issues. Unboxing and fully assembling the machine took me somewhere around an hour. However, I wasn't in any hurry so you could probably do it a bit quicker if that's something that's important to you. This CNC machine's literature says the machine is capable of working at speeds of up to 2000mm per minute. However, that's not exactly true. 2000mm is merely the default setting. I actually found that this machine is safely capable of working speeds of up to 3000mm per minute in certain (low demand) situations. And lastly, because this is a GRBL based machine, you can use any of the GRBL based software programs to run the machine. Programs like Carveco, Candle, OpenBuilds, Vectric and Easel. Great CNC with a phenomenal customer services
I rarely leave reviews on Amazon, but I felt compelled to do so for this product. It is one of the best CNCs on the market for its size, capabilities, and price. It is versatile enough to accommodate different laser modules and more powerful routers, such as the Makita handheld router with a 65mm collar. I have tried it with the RATTMMOTOR 800W Water Cooled Spindle Kit, 65mm Spindle Motor, and it works great. I also want to mention that the customer service is excellent. My original shipment was missing some hardware due to damage during shipping. I didn't want to return the entire unit, so I contacted SainSmart customer support. They were very responsive and helpful in getting me the replacement parts I needed. I think this is a great combination of a beginner-friendly CNC with phenomenal customer support. It is definitely worth the money! - The CNC is easy to assemble and use, even for beginners. - It is accurate and precise, producing high-quality results. - It is versatile and can be used for a variety of projects, including laser engraving, wood carving, and PCB milling. - The customer service is excellent, with quick responses and helpful support.
