Compares favorably to the Tek differential probe I have at work.
Diff probes have always been expensive, beyond a reasonable cost for their functionality. Now we have the Micsig and most can now take advantage of this technology. I'm quite pleased with the performance vs. price. However, it would be nice if the divider was 10/100.
High quality, exactly as promised. Fast shipping and excellent customer service!
Works well and for such a good price. Very satisfied.
I have been really impressed with this probe, I don't think the price/performance can be matched. Great for SMPS work!
I always hesitated purchasing a differential probe due to their demanding high prices; however, when I read Micsig's DP100013 specifications and the selling price in Sainsmart I placed my order immediately. In the analog days, some of us in school experienced using the Tektronix Type G differential amplifier (vacuum tube based plugin unit), once you passed a few tests you were allowed to move up using the Tektronix 7A22 Differential amplifier or the 7A13 Differential compactor (plugins for the Tektronix 7000 series scopes). Even back in those days prices for these differential tools were beyond the reach of students or professionals. But now, thanks to Micsig and Sainsmart, hobbies, students and professionals can afford one of two differential models produced by Micsig - there are other GREAT known Differential probes produced by other manufactures sold in Sainsmart, but I decided to purchase Micsig for the low price. I will be using the DP100013 in switching power supplies repair and design. Thank you Micsig and Sainsmart.
Great product for a reasonable price. Comes in a sturdy box. Only drawback I see is that is that the minimum divider is 50x, which limits the possibilities to measure small voltages.
Does "floating" mean isolated? I don't want a grounding problem to blow the ass out of my scope.
Answer:Yes it is isolated from the scope ground That is why it use a separate 5 volt power supply
Does the probe set come with a hard case?
Answer: Yes
Is this a bnc connector? would it work with a pico 2000 scope?
Micsig DP10013 is definitely a BNC connector, it suitable for all oscilloscopes with BNC interface.
