recording dmm wtih bluetooth

Got two units off MassDrop; as dmm's go they are decent and well made, use a pair of AA cells for power (but hatch is single screw, with no retaining ring so screw falls off easy) and SainSmart's android app works in my phone's 5.1.1 android but not in Samsung Tab A 2015 7.1.1 android ( doesn't record data in the Samsung). Other features include temperature (K thermocouple, very high working range) and other capabilities (see the site). The OWON app in android works better; recording in Samsung Tab A 2015 with 7.1.1 android. In either the SainSmart (my phones 5.1.1) or OWON app (Samsung Tab A 7.1.1) , only one channel or one meter is recorded; too bad since you can read and graph both meters on the fly and display both channels of readings but can only capture the one dmm you select - why not both channels? Format is csv so you can export to spreadsheet or statistical plot for analysis. So if your android os isn't giving you all the functions using the SainSmart app (recording, recalling, setting up data intervals and overall acquisition period), try the OWON app, it seems to go to at least 7.1.1 android and will allow the data capture modes.
