Simulate the real robotic arm

In order to help people to learn the basic structure of robotic arm, the SainSmart 6-Axis robotic arm is based on a realistic robotic arm design. What is more, it can simulate every movement like the real robotic arm. This really helps you to know how the robotic arm work.


This SainSmart robotic arm operates on six axes, meaning you can program it to move forward and back, up and down, and side to side. Compatible with the Arduino, it simulates a real palletizing robot arm structure with durable PVC material and a host of servos including four MG996 servos and two SG90 servos. The beauty of this arm is that it comes fully assembled, so little setup is required aside from the actual programming. See the video below for more details.

    This Robotic Arm is a great product and a must for all Arduino Robotic arm hobbyist .

    Robotic cat toy

    awesome product it was fun to mess around with, of course it was a little flimsy but i got great customer service when a servo broke!! i put a laser pointer on it and trained myself and played with my cat it was great

    Work as expected

    It took me several days to receive the DHL parcel. I managed to find out the link of test code and instructions at the bottom of the description, which is named "Robot Arm.zip". The robot arm works pretty well as the demo shows. However, I do hope they can improve the listing and make a more informative video.

    Had to study to be able to use it.

    I had to hook this up to a power supply via a receiver module for Fly Sky FS-i6. Was able to control several servos at once, and it was pretty cool. It has now made me understand why I couldn't power the servos simultaneous before through my adruino. Current draw! It has taken me a lot of learning to get this far, and I can tell you this is the best arm I got so far. It came assembled that is a huge thing, and the quality is great. Really is for serious hobbyist.

    Unuseable without instructions

    The Robot arm is supplied without any instructions. Sainsmart was made aware of this fact on 21 January, and there hasn't yet been a resolution (as of 11 March 2015). You should NOT buy one of these until a set of instructions becomes available. Nice looking arm, but right now it's just a very expensive paperweight!
