TS80 is a newly designed smart soldering iron, suitable for hobbyists, tinkerers, or electrical engineers doing the most precise repair jobs.

The integrated STM32 processor automatically regulates the TS80’s “sleep”, “standby”, and “operating” modes, ensuring a safe operation for the user. Equipped with an OLED screen, giving feedback on the TS80’s operation status.

More Portable

Driven by the pursuit of perfection, TS80 is a smaller and thinner soldering iron than its ancestor TS100. This unit is powered by USB Type-C interface and QC3.0 standard input. It can be powered using any mobile power supply that meets the QC3.0 (9V 2A) protocol. TS80 is ready for work anytime!

More Durable

The body of the TS80 is made of a CNC machined aluminum alloy. This provides you with a small, but robust package designed to last!

Excellent Temperature Control

The internal ceramic heating core and pure copper heating conductor focuses the heat to the iron’s tip, ensuring easy, reliable, and consistent operation for all jobs!

Code Application Layer Open Source

The TS80’s firmware is open source, allowing for customized adjustment of the iron’s parameters and behavior!

Simply the best iron for hobbyists

Works very well. I was able to apply custom firmware for even more features and ease of use. Heats very quickly for my uses.

    The ts80 is wonderful.
    The ts80 is wonderful.

I purchased the ts80 as a possible replacement to my Weller P2KC butane soldering iron, and I think this has become my new favorite on site soldering iron. I am powering it with a wall adapter, but the precise temperature adjustment makes it better then the butane scolding iron. Can’t wait for more tips to be produced.

    Great product Quick shipping

Great product. Was a present for my husband and he said this was the best one out there.

    instant heat!

Bought one for my techs to evaluate, based on their response I expect to buy an additional 3 units. Really nice unit

USB battery powered stick of awesomeness

The TS-80 is a fantastic upgrade to the already very good TS-100. With the full kit you get a small USB adapter that I rarely bother using, a very beefy chisel tip that powers through everything I've thrown at it, and a grounding wire so it's now ESD safe when you install it. In my job, I don't get to mess with lithium-ion RC batteries, but I frequently mess with all things USB. So I got a QC capable Anker battery, and even after hours of soldering this only drained about a third of the battery. Granted, the heat up time isn't nearly as quick as the new Hakko, but surprisingly fast considering it's running off a USB battery. Now, the different tip connection means that TS-100 tips are not compatible, which means I can't really do the same kind of work I did with the TS-100. So far, I haven't needed anything other than the chisel tip, but a 2mm bevel tip would be very nice.

Solders very well, given its size.

This is a great portable iron that really packs a punch. Heats up quickly and has no problem soldering large parts to big ground planes. Fine work is a breeze as well. I'll be keeping an eye out for replacement tips and a kit version like the ts100
