Please update the printer firmware (Creality OS) using the included USB drive before first use; subsequent updates can be done via OTA. When the CFS system is connected, the maximum print size will adjust: K1, K1C, and K1 SE to 220 × 215 × 250 mm, and K1 Max to 300 × 295 × 300 mm
Using the stock spool holder will retain the original print size.
Compatibility Reminder
The K1 Series Multi-Color Upgrade Kit (with integrated cutter extruder) is only compatible with K1 printers using an integrated hotend.
K1 Max units shipped before January 2024 use a split-style hotend.
K1 units shipped before February 2024 also use a split-style hotend.
For these models, please purchase the Unicorn Integrated Hotend Kit (Part No. 4001030132) separately before using the upgrade kit.
