At Genmitsu, we believe that creating is for everyone, and growing a business should not require jumping straight into oversized industrial machinery. Genmitsu Spark and Genmitsu Forge bridge the gap between accessible CNC ownership and production-minded performance, helping makers, sign shops, woodworking studios, and small manufacturers turn digital designs into repeatable, sellable work. From a first paid order to a higher-throughput workshop, Genmitsu builds CNC platforms designed to grow with your ambition.
Genmitsu Spark 6090: ATC-Ready CNC Production Within Reach
The Genmitsu Spark 6090 is built for CNC users who have outgrown entry-level machines and want a more capable, ATC-ready workflow without paying for a full industrial production cell. It gives small shops a larger platform for repeatable work, multi-tool job planning, and more professional day-to-day output.

Key Upgrades & Features
- ATC-Ready Workflow: Supports the messaging direction for automatic tool-change expansion, helping users plan multi-tool jobs with fewer manual stops. Final included ATC hardware and compatibility must be confirmed by SKU.
- 6090 Class Work Area: A larger working footprint supports signage, cabinet components, fixtures, templates, molds, and custom production parts for small businesses.
- Small-Shop Production Value: Positioned as a cost-conscious upgrade path for businesses that need throughput and repeatability without overspending on industrial machinery.
- Workflow-Friendly Control: Use final specifications to describe controller, probing, offline operation, macro, or tool-setting features that reduce setup time and operator friction.
Built for Growing CNC Businesses
Spark 6090 should speak to the customer who is ready to stop working around hobby-machine limits. The copy should make ATC readiness feel like a practical business upgrade: fewer manual steps, more repeatable jobs, and a CNC platform that can grow with real orders.

FAQs
ATC System
How does the 5-slot ATC handle tool paths between adjacent slots? Can I use longer tools?
When the spindle moves between tool slots — for example from slot B to slot A or C — it lifts the Z axis to clear the tops of the neighboring tools before traveling laterally. This means usable tool length is constrained by the clearance above adjacent slots.
We're implementing a configurable Z-lift height so you can allow more clearance for longer tools. The exact maximum tool length per configuration will be documented in the setup guide at launch.
What about metal chips or dust falling into the tool holder sockets?
This is a real consideration on any open-rack ATC system. A few things to keep in mind:
- The NAX5 tool holders are positioned away from the primary cutting zone, which reduces direct chip fall.
- Using dust collection during operation significantly reduces debris accumulation across the work area.
- Periodic cleaning of the tool sockets is part of standard ATC maintenance — the same as any rack-style tool changer.
A detailed maintenance guide will be included at launch.
Is the NAX5 compatible with other Genmitsu machines, or only PRONAX?
The NAX5 is designed specifically for PRONAX Spark and Forge. It communicates with the PRONAX control box over RS-485 and relies on PRONAX-specific firmware for tool-change sequencing, length compensation, and slot identification.
It is intentionally not cross-compatible with other ATC systems or third-party controllers — this ensures the full workflow (spindle, VFD, controller, ATC) has been validated end-to-end before it reaches you.
Will you sell the NAX5 ATC module bundled with a control box for use with other Genmitsu machines?
Not at launch. The NAX5 + PRONAX combination is currently validated only for PRONAX Spark and Forge. Expanding compatibility to other Genmitsu platforms is something we're evaluating for a future release — follow our product updates for announcements.
4th Axis
What 4th axis accessory is currently compatible with PRONAX?
A new 4th axis module is currently in development specifically for PRONAX, with two key improvements over the previous generation:
- Harmonic drive gearbox — zero backlash and higher indexing accuracy than the previous spur-gear design.
- Adjustable-length rod connection — the rod between the two end supports can be extended or shortened to match either Spark or Forge's Y-axis travel, so a single unit works with both machines.
The compatible existing 4th axis accessory for interim use will be confirmed and listed on the product page before launch.
Design & Intellectual Property
How is PRONAX differentiated from other ATC systems on the market?
Several things distinguish the PRONAX approach:
- Integrated system — spindle, VFD, PRONAX controller, and NAX5 tool changer are designed and validated together. There's no "source your own VFD and hope it works" step.
- Tool identification & status indication — the NAX5 includes per-slot tool recognition and visual status indicators, which most rack-style ATC systems at this price point don't offer.
- Original industrial design — the enclosure form factor, cover design, and indicator layout are unique to PRONAX.
- Closed ecosystem by intent — NAX5 only works with PRONAX machines and PRONAX firmware, which keeps the compatibility surface narrow and the out-of-box success rate high.
