1. Is the speed of 40000mm/min mentioned for this product for real?
Indeed, our enhancements to the motherboard and frame have resulted in a maximum operating speed of 40,000mm/min. However, for actual engraving, we recommend adjusting the speed according to the specific material and desired effect.
2. What distinguishes the 20W and 40W versions? What factors should be considered when choosing between them?
The accessories included with both the 20W and 40W sets are identical. In summary, if you prioritize efficiency and have higher cutting requirements, the 40W option is recommended. If your work primarily involves engraving and you don’t require that much of high efficiency or cutting capabilities, the 20W option would be suitable.
3. What items are included with the Genmitsu L8? Are there any optional accessories expected to be available soon?
The accessories included are: Honeycomb plate, Air pump and air duct, Built-in Camera, and a Built-in One-piece Enclosure with a ventilation fan.

We also have new accessories coming soon, including: Air purifier, Y-axis Rotary Roller, 3-1 Rotary Roller with Jaw and Chuck, 40W Sole Laser Module, and other Laser Modules to be developed in the future.

5. Can you explain how the advertised color feature functions?
Diode lasers can indeed be used to color stainless steel. The process works by absorbing enough of the laser’s blue light into the nickel and carbon in the surface layer of the stainless steel. This absorption heats the nickel and carbon, causing them to be briefly removed by the heat. This allows the warmed iron in the material to instantly oxidize, by adjusting different power and speed of the laser head, leaving colorful marks.
6. I’m a Mac user and I use LightBurn. Can I use the L8 with these?
Yes, the L8 fully support Lightburn, support system includes Windows/MAC/Android/IOS.
7. How does the camera feature function and is manual calibration required before use?
You can use the camera to position your product through lightburn. It is recommended to import preset parameters to calibrate the camera before use.
