I would like to say that these bits and collets are awesome, but I haven’t used them yet. They arrived really fast. So fast I haven’t gotten my current project done, so I can get to them. Haha.
I ordered a Prover bundle with a laser and essential bit set. I originally received only one tracking number and the laser arrived quickly. I emailed SainSmart to receive tracking numbers for the other two items and received a response with the additional information in hours. Everything arrived well packaged and complete. Looking forward to begin creating with it soon.
These are great... the coating really seems to harden them, which is great for a n00b like me. I still need to figure out feeds/speeds for the 20 degree bits but that’s not the bit’s fault. I would and likely will buy these again
As of now I am just getting started. I am mew to the Machine but I wanted to have the bits to start with.
I still haven't got to use the machine been trying to get the right brackets to hold the wood down they end up giving me washers and I'm wingnut. If you watch the video on your homepage it's showing metal brackets about maybe two in long and a longer bolt to put them on a 3/4 inch piece of wood. When I use the brackets or washers that you gave me I started riding and the wood took off because there is no basically good support for the wood on the plate. I called or emailed the support system they sent me another set of brackets which is the same as what I got washers and wingnuts. I probably will have to make my own and I probably will never buy another product from your company
This is the best way to go if you are new to the CNC router.
