x-z Axis Assembly for 3018- PRover

The X-Z axis assembly for the 3018 PRover was provide free of charge, under guarantee, when a similar part failed in my machine. The replacement was swiftly, and efficiently, dispatched, once the fault had been diagnosed, and I had provided proof of the date of purchase, as required by the terms of the guarantee. At every stage of the process, I was kept well informed via emails about the status of the package containing the replacement part. I was also able to track its progress in transit across the world. There was a minor glitch, when the package was held by the Chinese Customs Department, but this matter was quickly resolved, when I forwarded a copy of the carriers report, explaining the situation, to SainSmart. No further action was required of me. The package arrived safely in a matter of a few days, despite it being sent just before the UK Christmas holiday. Remarkable, considering it travelled all the way from China to the UK in such a short time. The relatively fragile part was well packaged, and therefore arrived undamaged as a result. One notable feature of this process was that I was not required to ship the faulty part back to the manufacture before a new part was dispatched. This greatly expedited the repair of my machine. In fact I have not been required to return the defective part at all, further saving me the cost and time associated with shipment. Such enlightened customer service, may be due to the fault being quickly diagnosed by the SainSmart Custom service engineer, during an email dialogue between the engineer and myself. The whole process represents excellent customer service.
