Tinned Copper Wire - We use only premium quality tinned copper wire in our resistors. Competitors cut costs by using tinned iron wire. Copper wire ensures a reliable consistent connection is made between circuit and resistor. The resistor is more precise because energy flows with less resistance over our copper leads. Resistance in a circuit should come from the resistor itself, not the leads.
Thick Leads - Our resistors are manufactured with thicker leads than are common for through hole resistors of their size. Thicker leads make insertion into solderless breadboards easier and the resistors more durable. These 1/4W resistors have leads with a diameter of 0.52mm. Standard wire for 1/4W resistors has a diameter of only 0.43mm.
Quality First - We go the extra mile when manufacturing our products to ensure that customers receive the premium experience they’ve come to expect from our brand. Boxes are sized to fit the resistors perfectly and feature a recloseable top which locks to prevent the lid from opening unintentionally in any orientation. A color code chart is included for identifying resistors once they’ve been removed from their individually labeled and ordered bag. These features together ensure that resistors stay organized over the long term.
